I am Alisha

With a background in film, animation, and 3D, I explore the interplay of color, texture, and light in my acrylic paintings. After more than a decade of working digitally, I returned to traditional painting — a medium that allows me to express emotions in a raw, tangible way. The physical act of layering paint, feeling its texture, and seeing colors transform under different lighting conditions makes the creative process more immediate and alive.

Between Light and Shadow
– A Play of Color and Perception

My work is bold, vibrant, and deeply saturated — somewhere between Pop Art and psychedelic aesthetics, with a strong focus on complementary contrasts, especially the interplay of orange and blue. I primarily paint people, particularly women, as a reflection of my own experiences and emotions. Portraits, for me, are a way to capture inner states, explore identity, and create a dialogue between light and shadow—both on the canvas and within the human psyche.

Light and shadow are more than visual elements to me; they represent the contrasts within ourselves. True happiness and growth emerge when we embrace and unify both aspects. This dynamic is reflected in my technique: UV-reactive paints and layered compositions shift with the light, revealing hidden details and creating an immersive experience. I continuously experiment with new methods to enhance this transformative effect.

My art is meant to inspire, spark change, and entertain. It invites viewers to embrace transformation, see emotions from new perspectives, and immerse themselves in a world where colors and shapes become their own language.
